Company history
| 1997 | Cosmo-smith Co., Ltd. was founded with 3 million yen of capital. The factory area was only 26.4 m2. Cut 2 series (5 sizes), Thinning 8 series began to be made and sold. Exportation to South Korea began. |
| 1999 | Exportation to Britain began. |
| 2000 | The factory area was extended to 82.5 m2. |
| 2002 | Capital was added, the stated capital was 6 million yen. |

| 2008 | Exportation to U.S.A began. The brand name was unified as "S.cosmo" and we embarked in domestic market. |
Show room
In a modern show room, 100 pieces of artifacts such as Japanese swords, Occidental razors, saws and gardening scissors made by seasoned craftsmen in the central region of Niigata Prefecture, mainly Sanjo district are aggregated and exhibited.
Also in the show room mountain iron sand, Tamahagane and Sponge iron are exhibited.
Training room
Training room capacity: 50 persons
For acquiring up to date cutting technic and coloring liquid concocting technic, we invite leading figures in Japan and provide lectures and demonstrations.
